Don't limit yourself to UPSC. Several state commissions have active windows this month:
MPPSC SSE 2026: 155 Vacancies (Apply by Feb 9, 2026). Prelims on April 26.
BPSC 71st/72nd: 71st Mains from April 14–21, 2026. 72nd Prelims scheduled for July 26, 2026.
UPPSC PCS 2026: Prelims officially scheduled for December 6, 2026 (Notification expected in Feb-March).
The UPSC has tightened eligibility for 2026. If you are already serving in the IAS or IFS from a previous cycle, you are not eligible to appear for CSE 2026. Ensure you review the updated "Number of Attempts" clause on the official portal before applying.
